CLADEC is the express industry’s principle advocacy organization in Latin America and the Caribbean.  It is comprised of 21 national trade associations representing the Express Delivery Services sector throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as the major express delivery companies servicing every country in the region – DHL, FedEX Express, TNT International Express, UPS and World Courier.

CLADEC, in coordination with its national affiliates, informs and educates stakeholders across the region on the benefits provided by the express delivery industry in promoting global trade and helping the economies of Latin America and the Caribbean grow and prosper.

Express delivery operators play an essential role as trade facilitator in the Americas, making it possible for businesses of any size to compete effectively in the modern global marketplace, serving their customers across Latin America and the Caribbean and around the world.

Express delivery operators offer door-to-door services to their customers, providing not only transportation systems in which the location and progress of packages is constantly tracked but also cross-border clearance and collection of payments from customers. The efficient transportation links provided by express delivery companies benefits the competitiveness of the countries in the region by allowing high-value goods reach their intended markets in an efficient and expeditious manner.
