On May 7th, 2025 the National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration (SUNAT) of the Republic of Peru, in its capacity as WCO Vice-Chair for the Americas and the Caribbean Region, the Regional Private Sector Group of the Americas and the Caribbean and the General Directorate of Customs of the Republic of El Salvador, in its capacity as host administration, hosted the V Joint Forum Customs – Regional Private Sector Group of the Americas and the Caribbean, at the Hilton Hotel in San Salvador, El Salvador, in a hybrid modality.
At the forum, the Customs administrations and members of the Regional Private Sector Group of the Americas and the Caribbean came together to discuss vital technical aspects aimed at strengthening regional cooperation. Fabian Villarroel of DHL and CLADEC moderated a panel discussion titled “Promoting the participation of Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in international trade”
