The meeting took place on September 3, 2010 at DHL Offices in Plantation, Florida.
CLADEC’s participation in the XXXI Meeting of National Customs Directors of Latin America, Spain and Portugal (COMALEP) and the importance of strengthening relationships with the entity were topics addressed at the meeting.
In addition, the World Customs Organization (WCO) request for sponsorship and how to work cooperatively with the organization was also addressed.
Further, the Directors discussed some country specific issues that are taking place in Brazil, Mexico, Ecuador and Peru and agreed that a continued proactive approach on CLADEC’s part is required.
