CLADEC Board Chairmanship Changes

Stephen Fenwick has informed CLADEC about his retirement from DHL effective December 31st, 2015, and therefore, from the CLADEC Board of Directors.

Stephen has been an engaged and active leader of CLADEC and has always valued the organization’s culture of congeniality. We are very grateful to Stephen and appreciate his valuable service and contributions to our association.

Additionally, Stephen informed us that Mike Parra has been appointed as his successor effective January 1st, 2016 and will assume the Chairmanship of the CLADEC Board for the remainder of DHL’s term, which ends in December 2016.

Mike Parra as Chief Executive Officer of DHL Express, will be responsible for all aspects of the Company’s express business in the Americas (North, Central, South America and the Caribbean). Mike brings an accomplished resume to his new role, having been the Chief Executive Officer for the Express USA Business. Mike’s previous positions within DHL include: SVP Head of Network Operations and Aviation Americas (2010-2014) SVP Operations Western U.S Denver, CO (2008-2009), SVP Operations Southeast U.S Atlanta, GA (2006- 2008), Director of Operations Southeastern U.S Atlanta, GA (2004 – 2006), Area Operations Manager Western, U.S Hawthorne CA (2000- 2004), Service Center Manager Miami, FL (1997- 1999). Mike had previously worked with T.N.T Express Worldwide in Miami, FL.

MIKE A. PARRA

Chief Executive Officer, DHL Express Americas (effective January 1st, 2015)

Mike A. Parra is the Chief Executive Officer for DHL Express Americas. He is responsible for all aspects of the Americas (North, Central, South American and the Caribbean) Express Business. Prior to assuming this role, Mike was Chief Executive Officer for the Express USA Business.

Prior to assuming his role as CEO USA, Mike served as the SVP Head of Network Operations and Aviation for the Americas Region, prior to this he was the SVP & Area General Manager Western, US with DHL Express U.S. In this role he was responsible for all aspects of commercial, operations, finance, and Human Resources within the Western U.S. (2009- 2011).

Mr. Parra’s previous positions within DHL include: SVP Head of Network Operations and Aviation Americas (2010-2014) SVP Operations Western U.S Denver, CO (2008-2009), SVP Operations Southeast U.S Atlanta, GA (2006- 2008), Director of Operations Southeastern U.S Atlanta, GA (2004 – 2006), Area Operations Manager Western, U.S Hawthorne CA (2000- 2004), Service Center Manager Miami, FL (1997- 1999)
